Sachin Jog has been actively associated with the Kotak Education Foundation for the past few years.

He has been working as a Senior volunteer for their Partners in Change (PIC) program. The Foundation has been adding value to lives of young students in Mumbai through the following programs.

Kotak Udaan
Kotak Udaan is a scholarship programme for students who’re facing extreme hardships in life, and whose academic performance is suffering as a result. Through this programme, we give them the support they need to improve their performance and continue their education.

Kotak Unnati
In megacities like Mumbai, a large number of young people drop out of schools and colleges. Many of them come from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families that are usually unemployed or underemployed, earning very low wages. Kotak Unnati is a livelihood programme that imparts employable skills to these youth aged 18 to 25 years.

Sachin has been volunteering in various Interventions like Kotak Unnati and Kotak in Search of Excellence (KISE) –

  • Making Career guidance presentations in vernacular schools
  • Workshop on “How to write a Resume”
  • Guidance on attending interviews
  • Baseline assessment of students who have been given a scholarship in Class 10 & 12

He truly believes that our youth is the future of our nation and need to be nurtured so that they can prosper in life thereby building our great nation.
